Growing up in Paris, he sang in a church choir and studied classical music. In his early teens Martin Solveig turned to electronic music, got into the house music scene through records coming from Chicago and New York, and as a student, he was resident DJ at Le Palace, Les Bains-Douches, L’Enfer and Le Queen. Later he started his own label, Mixture Stereophonic, and in 2002 dropped his debut album Sur La Terre.
These days Solveig is an acclaimed and versatile veteran DJ and producer, one of the founding fathers of the whole EDM movement and very successful. In 2012 Madonna asked him to work with her on the MDNA album and he co-wrote three of the songs, including the hit Give Me All Your Luvin’.
