In 2017, Swedish pop singer Tove Styrke released worldwide recognized singles "Say My Name" and "Mistakes". Fans as well as media and other artists showed support and appreciation. Rolling Stone Magazine announced "Say My Name" to # 11 on the list of "Best Songs Of 2017" and Shawn Mendes declared "Mistakes" to his favorite song 2017 in an interview with NME. Other worldwide artists who expressed their love for Tove and her new music include Lorde, Sam Smith, Clean Bandit, Chainsmokers and many more. By the end of 2017 Tove released a cover on Lorde’s track "Liability".
In May 2018 Styrke released her third critically acclaimed album “Sway” (RCA/Sony Music) and was widely acclaimed by Pitchfork, FADER, NME, Billboard, Rolling Srone Magazine, GQ and more.
After joining Lorde on her spring U.S. arena tour, Styrke is now support act to Katy Perry on her European tour that started in May 23.
Styrke had her own musical debut at age 18, with the release of a self-titled effort that went platinum in Sweden and earned a nomination at the Swedish Grammy Awards. With the arrival of Kiddo in 2015, Styrke saw the album named a “feminist pop triumph” in the pages of Time.
